Clark Brownlee, Coordinator
Dear Colleague:
This is to notify you that I have resigned as CEO of Manitoba Housing effective October 18, 2013. I wish to express my sincere appreciation of the opportunity to work with you relative to social and affordable housing matters over the course of the past number of years.
As many of you are aware, I have been on the social and affordable housing scene for a considerable length of time. This has allowed me the privilege of working extensively with a group of caring and committed individuals within Manitoba and throughout the country dedicated to the provision of social and affordable housing. I take this opportunity to thank you for your support over these past years and wish you the best of success as you continue to move the housing agenda forward.
As some of you may have heard, I am returning to Saskatchewan where I am taking on the position of President and CEO of SecurTek Monitoring Solutions effective November 1, 2013. This is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SaskTel that delivers both residential and commercial security systems. It currently has operations in the provinces from Ontario west. My wife, Susan and I are in the process of moving to Yorkton, Saskatchewan where the head office is located. Since SecurTek is national in scope and has ongoing operations in Winnipeg, I will be travelling to Manitoba on occasion and I am hoping to maintain the friendships that I have established over the past number of years. I look forward to staying in touch!
Once again, thank you so much for your support and I wish you the best of success in the years to come.
Sincerely,
Darrell Jones
