Coalition submits housing budget recommendations for Manitoba

The Coalition submitted  recommendations to the Honourable Stan Struthers, Minister of Finance for the provincial budget.  Included in the recommendations:

.  make one-third of  promised 2500 units of affordable housing to be rent-geared-to-income.

.  increase the housing allowance of Employment and Income Assistance recipients to 75% of median market rent levels

.  provide a PST reduction on materials and services used in construction of purpose-built rental housing.
