The Manitoba government proposed Bill 13 on March 12 to update the Residential Tenancies Act. The Bill is encouraging, but requires strengthening to ensure fairness, stability, and affordability for the hundreds of thousands of Manitobans who rent.
Provide public input into the Bill by registering to submit written comments or to speak (virtually or in-person) to the Standing Committee on Bill 13. The Committee, made up of MLAs, will review the Bill in detail and hear from the public. You will be contacted when the meeting is scheduled.
