On Thursday, January 19th a rally took place outside of Lion’s Place in Winnipeg where residents are concerned about the impending sale of the seniors non-profit housing complex. At the rally Shauna MacKinnon of the Right to Housing Coalition criticized the Manitoba government for allowing the sale of one of the largest non-profit residential buildings in the province to an Alberta-based firm.
