R2H launches federal brief on housing

On Monday June 22nd the Right to Housing Coalition launched its campaign to make housing an issue in the federal election this fall. The Coalition has developed a brief Housing for All Manitobans with proposals for policy changes to re-engage the federal government in the provision of social housing and to enhance private sector capacity to build affordable rental housing.

To launch the campaign a policy walk was organized to highlight changes to housing seen in West Broadway, across Winnipeg and Canada and to propose federal policy changes that aim to balance Canada’s housing system.
