Congratulations
Right to Housing is pleased to congratulate you on your election as Premier of our province. We have always been well received by you when we came to the Government to advocate for more RGI housing units. We were delighted when both Mr. Ashton and you committed to the target of 300 RGI units in Manitoba each year for the next five years. Now that you have assumed your new office we know that you will be confronted with many conflicting demands and pressures however we are confident that you have thought about your commitment and will be unveiling your plans through the budgetary process in due course.
We have recently been enjoying productive talks with Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation and are looking forward to meeting with the Minister of Housing on November 3. In this way we will be following the progress of this initiative and will be supporting it in any way that we can.
Once again congratulations on assuming the highest political role in this province. We wish you every success in meeting the many challenges that lie ahead.
